Flushing attachments will vary by manufacturer and model. Generally speaking for Mercury outboards, if your engine doesn’t have the silver-dollar-sized hole where this feature would be, you will need to use muffs to flush your outboard. Typically, an older motor may not have this feature, but most newer ones will. You can always contact your dealer or Customer Support if you are unsure if your outboard motor has this feature.
